先前就計畫這個暑假讓兩姊妹學游泳，剛好找到有同時開兒童初級、幼兒基礎時段的泳訓班，可以在不同水道同時上課，真的方便很多，最近課程開始，孩子們學得很開心。於是打鐵趁熱，這幾堂與Tr.S的課，在網上找了幾篇與游泳相關的文章，藉此讓C姐多認識學會游泳的好處與必要性，也可了解相關的知識。
第一堂與第二堂讀的是，有關前一陣子全世界所矚目的一個大新聞: 受困於泰國睡美人洞的少年的救援行動之報導。這篇報導來自於BBC，內容包含他們如何受困、如何被國際性組織海豹隊搜救以及整個成功被救出的過程，以文字、以圖片與照片，清楚並完整的記錄著整個故事: Thai cave rescue: How the boys were saved。由於在第二堂提早完成文章，C姐自己找了三樣會游泳的動物的origami跟老師一起摺紙: Fish - DIY Origami Tutorial by Paper Folds、Origami Turtle - How To Make Origami Turtle Easy、Origami Crab - Origami Easy。
最近發現每次上完課，C姐回覆老師的留言愈來愈順、愈來愈有內容，特別轉錄過來，雖然在文法、時態與拼字上總還是有些小錯，但能寫、願意寫就很值得鼓勵了:

第三堂讀的是與各種泳式相關的文章: The Different Swimming Strokes / Styles。媽咪自己粗略的瀏覽了一下，才知原來游泳各式的英文講法除了自由式freestyle stroke與蝶式是直翻，其他如蛙式Breaststroke、仰式Backstroke與狗爬式Sidestroke與想像的並相同。文章內容非常仔細說明各式的原理與做法，圖片與影片也非常精彩，真是一起學著長了知識。最後老師分享了一部與游泳有關根據實事改編的電影Pride，只可惜這部電影似乎在台灣並未上映。

第四堂與第五堂選了一篇來自NBC的報導: 15 Ways to Help Prevent Drownings This Summer。文章的內容列出15種方式，讓讀者了解夏季玩水、游泳可如何幫助自己分辨與避免溺水的危險，相當實用。Tr. S與C姐整整花上兩堂課的時間，討論文章的內容，相信C姐一定收穫許多。原本預計若提早讀完文章，可以另外做點摺紙，於是在Youtube找了origami swimsuit。
